Archive of Discontinued Courses of the Department of Anthropology & Sociology

Below is a listing of only those courses recently discontinued by the Department, including (where possible) brief descriptions, prerequisites, and exclusions. It is provided as a reference only.  The archive is intended mainly for those who have encountered exclusions in the current calendar, who are reviewing their academic careers past terms; or even for those who are looking for courses they believe they know of, but can't find.

For the latest list of course "on the books" for consideration by the Department, see the current Academic Calendar.  For a list of courses being offered during a current or upcoming academic term, consult the Department Course Timetable.  This archive is for convenience only: if there is a discrepancy between this and information provided by the Registrar, the Registrar takes precedence.
