Assistant Professor Michael G. MacDonald BA (CBU), MA (Maine)  has been a member of the department for the past 15 years.  Michael teaches argumentation and debate, professional presentations, rhetoric & popular culture and public speaking courses. As well, Michael and Dr. Felix Odartey-Wellington advise the CBU Debate Society. His research areas include role development in computer-mediated communication, Canadian Parliamentary Debate, and the communicative aspects of social and religious gatherings. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of the Cape Breton Filmmakers Association (CBFA).
