Department Chair, Communication Lab Coordinator.
Dawn is a graduate of CBU with a BA in Communication and a Certificate in
Theatre Arts. Dawn is responsible for the planning, training, scheduling and facilitation
of the experiential learning labs that accompany the basic courses
(COMM1103, COMM1105, and COMM2175). She also trains the
peer facilitators for their work in the lab through
weekly meetings, designs the lab lesson plans and assesses
students' performance. Aside from her work in the lab,
Dawn delivers COMM1103
(via CBU Online Education), and designs Communication courses for
online delivery
through
Moodle.
She is also a Distance Education Consultant and works
with faculty members on the design and delivery of online courses through
Moodle. Dawn
recently worked with Dr. Carol Corbin and published a text for use in the
Communication 1103 course:
Interpersonal Communication: A Cultural Approach.
