PierScape'98, the first annual Whitney Pier Festival of the Visual Arts (WPFVA) will be held September 14-20, 1998. Show casing artists of Whitney Pier, the Festival will draw artists and visitors to the area for a week of events featuring ethnic, and cultural diversity of the visual arts and the community of Whitney Pier.

In addition to exhibiting 50 artists, Festival organizers are planning workshops on photography, sculpture, multimedia, etc. Many different events are being planned, involving residents and visitors.
