Dr. Sylvia Burrow is Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Cape Breton University. Dr. Burrow’s published work is internationally represented, appearing in journals and book chapters on topics including theory of emotion, sympathy, empathy, moral reasoning, moral imagination and moral progress. Recent research explores emotions and attitudes that seem essential to both autonomy and integrity, connecting their development with individual moral progress.
